Amazon Prime Video becomes the exclusive long-term streaming home in Latin America for Lionsgate\u2019s portfolio of tentpole films and branded properties, beginning with <em>John Wick: Chapter 2<\/em>, the action movie based on Saban\u2019s <em>Power Rangers<\/em> and <em>Jigsaw<\/em>, which is the latest installment of the <em>Saw<\/em> franchise. Prime Video will continue to add new Lionsgate releases, including <em>Wonder<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Jason Ropell, the VP of worldwide movies at Amazon Prime Video, said: \u201cAmazon is committed to delivering great movies to our Prime Video members across Latin America. We know our audiences are going to love the new and exciting Lionsgate releases exclusively joining our service.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re thrilled to enter into this strategic agreement with Amazon Prime Video, a leading global on-demand entertainment service,\u201d said Lionsgate&#8217;s president of international television and digital distribution, Peter Iacono. \u201cThe complementary strengths of Amazon and Lionsgate, including the innovation of the Prime Video service and the premium quality of Lionsgate content, set this deal apart.
