WAPA is putting together a team of experts to oversee the local event, and has named former Miss Universe Denise Qui\u00f1ones as pageant director. This year&#8217;s edition will be held in Puerto Rico in September, with additional details to follow.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re honored to acquire Miss Universe Puerto Rico and will approach it with the respect and importance commensurate with this esteemed international franchise,\u201d said Alan J.
