Univision Communications has named Jessica Rodr\u00edguez president and chief operating officer of UCI Networks, a newly created role that is effective immediately.<\/p>\n
As president and COO, Rodr\u00edguez will manage daily operations of UCI’s television networks while also developing and executing the channels’ strategies. Lourdes D\u00edaz, president of entertainment, will report to Rodr\u00edguez.<\/p>\n
Rodr\u00edguez will work under Isaac Lee, chief content officer at UCI and Grupo Televisa. She will also continue to serve as chief marketing officer at UCI, reporting to Randy Falco, president and CEO.<\/p>\n
Before becoming chief marketing officer, Rodr\u00edguez was executive VP of program scheduling and promotions. Prior to that, she was senior VP of Univision Cable Networks.<\/p>\n
