Caracol Television has revealed its plans to produce Bolivar, Una Lucha Admirable<\/em>, a new series focused on the life of Venezuelan leader Simon Bolivar.<\/p>\n

Bolivar, Una Lucha Admirable<\/em> will tell the story of the celebrated figure, including his tastes, motivations, personal life and relationship with Manuelita Saenz.\u00a0Gonzalo Cordoba, Caracol Television\u2019s president, said:\u00a0\u201cWe are excited to undertake this adventure with the story of a wonderful man as Bolivar. To Caracol Television, it is a great challenge to develop this production that represents the most demanding and ambitious one we have ever done.\u201d<\/p>\n

Dago Garcia, Caracol Television\u2019s production and contents VP, noted: \u201cWe have managed to compose a story that perfectly combines the historic drama of Simon Bolivar\u2019s heroic deeds with his personal and romantic dramas, because if Bolivar has an important story as a politician and a military [leader], he has an even more interesting life as a man who had complex and intense relationships with women.
