Alejandro Rojas has joined data provider Parrot Analytics as the regional director of Latin America as part of the company\u2019s international office expansion efforts.<\/p>\n

In this role, Rojas is responsible for engaging with and selling Parrot Analytics\u2019 products and services to new clients across Latin America, as well as helping with customer success initiatives for existing clients. Rojas is already responsible for spearheading a subscription deal with Brazil\u2019s TV Globo. Globo is utilizing Parrot\u2019s Audience Demand Measurement System to track demand for its TV content across its five broadcast channels and 188 affiliates. Based in New York City, Rojas reports to Parrot Analytics CEO Wared Seger.<\/p>\n

Rojas, a former McKinsey consultant, has more than ten years of experience in the content industry. He was executive producer on multiple TV series that aired nationally in his native Venezuela. Rojas has also worked at The Data Incubator, where he developed a machine learning application to predict returns on highly correlated financial assets. Previously, he co-founded TrixandTrax, an online video start-up with operations in Chile and Venezuela, backed by Wayra (Telefonica\u2019s accelerator) and Start-Up Chile.<\/p>\n
