{"id":3312,"date":"2017-04-25T10:45:36","date_gmt":"2017-04-25T14:45:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvlatina\/gaumont-names-sales-agent-for-latam\/"},"modified":"2017-04-25T13:03:39","modified_gmt":"2017-04-25T17:03:39","slug":"gaumont-names-sales-agent-for-latam","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvlatina\/gaumont-names-sales-agent-for-latam\/","title":{"rendered":"Gaumont Names Sales Agent for LatAm"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Gaumont has tapped Ezequiel Olzanski\u2019s newly formed EO Distribution as the exclusive sales agent for its scripted drama and animated programming throughout Latin America.<\/p>\n<p>EO Distribution will focus efforts on Gaumont dramas, including <em>Hannibal<\/em>, <em>Hemlock Grove<\/em>, <em>The Frozen Dead<\/em> and <em>The Art of Crime<\/em>.\u00a0In kids&#8217; programming, new titles represented by EO Distribution in Latin America include <em>Belle &amp; Sebastian<\/em>, <em>Furry Wheels<\/em> and <em>Trulli Tales<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to setting up his own company, Olzanski served as director of international sales and distribution at Snap TV, where he also managed the MarVista Entertainment catalog for Latin America and the U.S. Hispanic market.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have been very successful over the last few years with our drama series, including <em>Narcos<\/em>, <em>Hannibal<\/em>, <em>Hemlock Grove<\/em>\u00a0and our animated series <em>F is for Family<\/em>, and we have several new kids&#8217; animated series due to debut this year, plus over 40 TV series in various stages of development,\u201d commented Vanessa Shapiro, Gaumont\u2019s president of worldwide distribution, TV and animation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cExpansion across Latin America is very important for us, and we are delighted to have Eze Olzanski, who has tremendous relationships throughout the region and is highly respected, represent our titles there.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s an honor and a privilege for EO Distribution to have the opportunity to represent such a tremendous company as Gaumont,\u201d added Olzanski. \u201cGaumont is the history of cinema, and the present and future of television, and the company\u2019s programming has high potential for distribution across all platforms.
