MIAMI: FremantleMedia International has secured more than 100 hours’ worth of programming sales at NATPE, landing deals on titles such as the miniseries Apple Tree Yard<\/em> and the dating format Take Me Out<\/em>.<\/p>\n Kudos\u2019 Apple Tree Yard<\/em>, adapted from the best-selling novel by Louise Doughty, has been picked up by Fox\u2019s Pan Latin American networks. DirectTV picked up both Wildside\u2019s Mafia Only Kills in Summer<\/em> and UFA Fiction\u2019s Deutschland \u201986<\/em> for its U.S. Hispanic networks.<\/p>\n In addition to its scripted sales, FremantleMedia International sold a selection of non-scripted titles from its slate to Latin American and U.S. Hispanic networks. These include 25 hours of Take Me Out<\/em>, as well as the documentary The Cars That Made Us<\/em> (Discovery Latin America), the latest season of America\u2019s Got Talent<\/em> (Sony Networks) and the second season of Bondi Ink<\/em> (Turner).<\/p>\n Sheila Aguirre, the executive VP of international distribution at FremantleMedia, said: \u201cThe Latin American and U.S. Hispanic markets are some of the most diverse in the world, so there\u2019s always high demand for FremantleMedia\u2019s catalog, which has a depth and range that few other distributors can offer.
