RIO DE JANEIRO: Factual and nonfiction content will take center stage during the seventh edition of RioContentMarket, which will feature\u00a0keynotes from executives at Canal+ and ESPN.<\/p>\n
Diego Bu\u00f1uel, head of documentaries at Canal+, and John Dahl, original content executive producer and VP at ESPN, will both deliver keynotes about the genre during the event, which will run March 8 to 10 at the Hotel Windsor Barra in Rio de Janeiro. In addition, Canal+\u2019s Bu\u00f1uel and executives from ESPN Brasil will attend the market\u2019s One-to-One Meetings seeking titles in the factual space.<\/p>\n
Other Brazilian and foreign players set to take part in the special one-on-one meetings are interested in documentary and nonfiction formats, with France’s Lucky You among them. Robert Salvestrin, acquisitions director at Lucky You, has signed on to participate. Additionally, Mexican Canal 22 will be represented by its programming director, Abel Flores, while Arte 1\u2019s Rebecca Tavares, Jana\u00edna Tadeu and Luciano Cury will also be in attendance.\u00a0German prodco Gerbrueder Beetz Filmproduktion will also have a presence at the market.<\/p>\n
