These Live Stories will be a curated collection of photo and video Snaps submitted by app users at the events. They will also feature small excerpts from Globo\u2019s broadcasts.<\/p>\n<p>The partnership marks the first time that Globo will offer exclusive content of its sports coverage on a social-media platform. The initiative encompasses both Globo&#8217;s free-to-air channel and SporTV, the multichannel sports brand operated by Globosat.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are thrilled to establish this partnership with Snapchat,\u201d said Erick Br\u00eatas, the director of digital media at Globo. \u201cAnd the moment couldn\u2019t be more appropriate: a huge event in Rio de Janeiro is [a] guarantee of breathtaking images of the Games. The partnership reinforces the movement Globo has been making to get closer to its audience, wherever and however they feel like.
