MEXICO CITY: Latin American industry vet Cesar Diaz has joined TV Azteca\u2019s new commercial arm, AZ Contenidos, where he\u2019ll oversee sales in the U.S., Canada and Spain.<\/p>\n
Diaz will report directly to Ram\u00f3n Salom\u00f3n, TV Azteca\u2019s head of content operations. The exec was previously VP of Cisneros Media Distribution and most recently founded distribution outfit 7A Media.<\/p>\n
“We [at] TV Azteca are very pleased that Cesar is joining the team and are confident in his professionalism, good results and experience in the various markets he will oversee,” said Fidela Navarro, head of content and channels distribution at TV Azteca.<\/p>\n
Salom\u00f3n said: “His great connection with customers will help drive the new personalized push we want to implement in these markets.\u201d<\/p>\n
