Kreutzberger will also serve as special senior news correspondent conducting high-profile interviews for the NBCUniversal-owned Hispanic broadcaster.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMario is the most recognized face of Spanish-language media around the world,\u201d said Cesar Conde, chairman of NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises and NBCUniversal International Group. \u201cWe are extremely proud that he has chosen to join the Telemundo family. His numerous contributions to our community, endless expertise in innovative television entertainment and unique ability to engage world leaders reinforce our commitment to continue transforming the media landscape.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Kreutzberger created and hosted <em>S\u00e1bado Gigante<\/em> (<em>Giant Saturday<\/em>), the longest running TV variety show in the world according to Guinness World Records. It launched in 1962 on Canal 13 in his native Chile and went on to air in 40-plus markets across the globe.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am extremely happy with this opportunity NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises is giving me,&#8221; Kreutzberger said. &#8220;Telemundo network has experienced tremendous growth thanks to its clear vision and steadfast commitment to the Hispanic community.
