\n\tMIAMI: Alterna’TV has signed a carriage deal with OTT service YipTV that will see the addition of several Latin American channels to the digital hub.<\/p>\n
\n\tThrough the deal, Alterna’TV will provide YipTV with international feeds from general entertainment channels Canal 22 Internacional, Canal Once Mexico, CB Tu Television Michoacan and Telemicro, as well as feeds of extreme-sports channel PX TV, Trace Sports Stars, Latin American Sports and AYM Sports. The agreement also includes children’s entertainment channel Fix & Foxi. The YipTV broadband TV service works via mobile apps, web browsers and devices such as phones, laptops, tablets, PCs and smart TVs.<\/p>\n
\n\t“YipTV is committed to delivering an affordable, high-quality entertainment experience to our subscribers, offering a diverse assortment of domestic and international channels in a variety of languages,” explained Victor Iasprizza, YipTV’s VP of content acquisition. “Alterna’TV represents many of the leading networks from Mexico and South America as well as popular sports channels, all of which are very attractive to our subscribers.”<\/p>\n
\n\t“YipTV is taking TV to its next logical platform, offering viewers a low-cost, high-quality alternative to traditional cable and satellite services,” added Roberto Perez, the senior director of marketing and distribution for Alterna’TV. “YipTV subscribers will have the ability to access traditional favorite channels such as Canal 22 and Canal Once, as well as specialty channels PX TV, Trace Sports Stars from PCs and Smart TVs in their homes and phones, tablets and laptops when they’re on the go.
