\n\tMIAMI: Juan Carlos Sosa has been appointed as the executive VP of operations for Venevision Studios, where he will work under Jonathan Blum, the president of Cisneros Media.<\/p>\n
\n\tIn his new role, Sosa will manage the production studios based in Medley, Florida, and will oversee all production operations. He will also lead the standardization of the production process at Cisneros' facilities in the U.S. and Venezuela. He will collaborate with Blum on the supervision of relationships with broadcasters and networks.<\/p>\n
\n\tSosa was first hired by Cisneros in April 1994. During his career he has held such posts as marketing and sales manager, general manager and director of telecommunications. In 2011 he became the company's VP of marketing and business development.<\/p>\n
