SÃO PAULO\/LONDON: Juliana Algañaraz has been tapped to lead Endemol Brazil as the company’s new general manager, effective August 13. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Algañaraz has been serving as the operations and production services director of Fox Brazil. Algañaraz has also managed international projects at Channel 13 in Argentina as executive producer, and has served as manager of acquisitions and new content for RedeTV! and manager of artistic production at RPC-TV, affiliated with Globo Networks. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In the new post as GM of Endemol Brazil, Algañaraz will be reporting to Martin Kweller, Endemol’s creative director and operations director for Latin America. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Kweller commented: “Juliana has an exemplary track record and a well-deserved reputation as a first-class producer and executive. I’m thrilled to have her with us as we look to further expand our activities in Brazil.”<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
