She takes up the post as of August 13, reporting to Enrique R. Mart&iacute;nez, the president and managing director for DLA\/USH. Lightcap will be based in Buenos Aires. She will be leading all areas of DLA\/USH related to content, including programming, marketing, publicity and on-air promotions. In her GM role, Lightcap will oversee Discovery&#8217;s business in Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Bolivia and Paraguay. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana\">Previously, Lightcap had been serving as the president of Disney Channels Worldwide, and before that was the chief marketing officer for The Walt Disney Company for Latin America. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana\">Mart&iacute;nez commented: <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: small\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana\">&ldquo;Carolina is an outstanding creative and operational executive with the ability to manage portfolios across multiple brands within the international pay-TV business.
