SÃO PAULO\/LONDON: BBC Worldwide Channels has partnered with NET Serviços to launch its first dedicated channel in Brazil, BBC HD.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

BBC HD will be available starting May 28 in NET Serviços’ Top HD package. The deal also includes a branded VOD service pact, which will provide content from BBC Entertainment and the preschool channel CBeebies. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Brazilian viewers will now get BBC programs in 100 percent high definition, including the exclusive premieres of Top Gear <\/em>and Sherlock<\/em>. The summer lineup also includes the London Calling<\/em> programming stunt, as well as Planet Earth Live<\/em>. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Jana Bennett, the president of worldwide networks and Global BBC iPlayer at BBC Worldwide, said, <\/span><\/span>"I am thrilled that our channels will now reach audiences in Brazil with the BBC’s amazing output.
