TBS Latin America Takes BBCWW Fare

MIAMI: BBC Worldwide Sales & Distribution has licensed a range of music programming, including a Radiohead concert and this year’s Brit Awards, to TBS Latin America.

The package includes Radiohead: The King of Limbs—Live From the Basement, The Brit Awards 2012, Take That—Look Back, Don’t Stare and Blur—No Distance Left To Run. "Music is a very hot genre in Latin America, and BBC Worldwide adds fresh, unique, and captivating music programming to its catalogue every year,” said Helen Jurado, VP of television sales and distribution at BBC Worldwide Latin America. “Our extensive collection of exciting concerts from internationally renowned artists and unparalleled music documentaries has established BBC Worldwide as an unrivaled, premiere distributor of music content in the industry.”

The Latin American cable channel also picked up several docs from BBC Worldwide, including two from BBC television presenter and famed documentarian Louis Theroux: America’s Medicated Kids and Miami Mega Jail, and the comedies Little Britain and Come Fly With Me.
