Yeti Farm Creative Bolsters Senior Team

KELOWNA: Canadian animation studio Yeti Farm Creative has appointed a trio of seasoned execs to its senior team: Blair Peters, Lance Priebe and Darren Battersby.

Peters, former partner at Studio B Productions, and Priebe, founder of Club Penguin and Hyper Hippo Games, will be responsible for the strategic and creative vision of both Yeti Farm Creative and its digital-first slate in YetiLABS. Battersby, formerly of Rainmaker Entertainment and Bardel Entertainment, joins the studio’s finance department.

Peters remarked: “I have known Yeti founders Ashley and Todd Ramsay for many years—since back in the day when they both worked at Studio B. I always knew they would do great things. Together, they have created an exceptional company and I am excited to help shape and bring the vision for YetiLABS, an innovative and creative studio focused on original digital productions, to life.”

Priebe stated: “I am looking forward to working with Blair and the Yeti team to mold the long-term strategy for YetiLABS. This is a growing company filled with smart, talented people. We are going to do some great things together and provide entertaining, compelling content that people will want to see. The future at YetiLABS is very bright!”

Battersby noted: “There are several key elements in building and running a successful creative company and I am thrilled that I will be heading up the financial side for Yeti Farm Creative and YetiLABS. A strong financial plan and leadership allows the business and creative pros to do their best work—and this company does exceptional work. I look forward to helping them grow and thrive.”

Ashley Ramsay, CEO of Yeti Farm Creative, added: “Blair, Lance and Darren are a dream team. Their expertise, experience and abilities are exceptional and we are thrilled to have each of them join us as we build on our current successes and create new ones. It is an incredible time for our company—especially for our digital-first original productions. We see a huge opportunity in this area and we are looking forward to what tomorrow will bring.”
