Xilam Rolls Out Oggy App Worldwide

Xilam Animation has launched across the globe an app inspired by its flagship property Oggy & the Cockroaches.

The app was previously only available in France. Designed in-house by Xilam Animation and developed by mobile publishing company Playsoft, the official Oggy app offers an interactive chase game. The cockroaches have attempted to raid Oggy’s refrigerator, and users are on a mission to stop them. Both the visuals and sound effects come from the same Paris-based animation studio that makes the TV series.

The free game features in-app purchases that offer bonus levels such as increases in speed and hover-boards. Additional app highlights include three different worlds to explore, cartoon-style graphics, coins to collect to increase Oggy’s skills and the chance to challenge friends on Facebook. The app is available for iOS and Android devices.
