{"id":9982,"date":"2016-04-26T10:01:45","date_gmt":"2016-04-26T14:01:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvkids\/cartoon-network-park-to-open-in-dubai\/"},"modified":"2016-04-26T10:05:07","modified_gmt":"2016-04-26T14:05:07","slug":"cartoon-network-attraction-to-launch-in-dubai-theme-park","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvkids\/cartoon-network-attraction-to-launch-in-dubai-theme-park\/","title":{"rendered":"Cartoon Network Attraction to Launch in Dubai Theme Park"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>LONDON: Turner&#8217;s Cartoon Network EMEA has revealed details for the dedicated Cartoon Network Zone within Dubai&#8217;s IMG Worlds of Adventure, a themed entertainment destination that is slated to open this summer.<\/p>\n<p>An agreement between Ilyas &amp; Mustafa Galadari Group (IMG) and Cartoon Network will see such hit series as <em>Ben 10<\/em>, <em>Adventure Time<\/em>, <em>The Powerpuff Girls<\/em> and <em>The Amazing World of Gumball<\/em>\u00a0featured in an interactive world of rides and entertainment. Ben 10 5D &#8211; Hero Time will allow visitors to witness a real-life battle with Ben and Rook in a 5D multi-sensory theater experience. Other themed attractions include The Powerpuff Girls &#8211; Mojo Jojo&#8217;s Robot Rampage, The Ride of Ooo with Finn and Jake and The Amazing Ride of Gumball. There will also be branded restaurants and retail locations.<\/p>\n<p>IMG Worlds of Adventure will officially open to the public\u00a0on Monday, August 15. The 1.5 million-square-foot\u00a0park\u00a0will be the world&#8217;s largest temperature-controlled indoor themed entertainment destination, with the capacity to hold more than 30,000 guests each day.<\/p>\n<p>Johanne Broadfield, the VP for EMEA at Cartoon Network Enterprises, said: \u201cAfter working closely with IMG over the past few years, we\u2019re extremely excited to be getting close to the park\u2019s official opening. Throughout the process, IMG have matched our passion and ambition to bring Cartoon Network\u2019s iconic brands to life; and the attraction is a significant milestone in our strategy to deliver more immersive fan experiences for kids and families.
