All five channels currently air the\u00a0series as well. The films, which\u00a0see Martin Short reprising his role as the Cat, were commissioned by PBS in the U.S. and will also broadcast\u00a0on Canada&#8217;s Treehouse.<\/p>\n<p>Joy Rosen, CEO and co-founder of Portfolio Entertainment, commented: \u201cThese movies offer audiences expanded story lines and the opportunity to see our characters set off on incredible new journeys.
