Titles include <em>Wolfblood<\/em>, <em>Blue Peter<\/em>, <em>The Dumping Ground<\/em>, <em>Topsy &amp; Tim<\/em> and <em>Go Jetters<\/em>. The ad-free app allows users to set a profile, select an age, watch anytime, anywhere with downloads, search for shows and choose accessibility options. It also includes a safety lock that prevents little ones from accessing outside links or settings.<\/p>\n<p>Alice Webb, the director of BBC Children\u2019s, commented: \u201cChildren have always been a priority for the BBC. So launching the BBC iPlayer Kids app is a really exciting moment for us\u2014and we can\u2019t wait to see millions of children get excited about it too. The BBC iPlayer Kids app meets the needs we know are absolute deal-breakers for kids and parents. We\u2019re offering choice and control, wrapped up in a child-friendly design and the largest range of home-grown U.K. content on a platform parents can trust. In a nutshell, the app is CBBC and CBeebies in their hands\u2014a BBC iPlayer re-designed for a new, digitally savvy generation.
