Created by TeamTO and co-produced and distributed internationally by CAKE, <em>Angelo Rules<\/em> began broadcasting on Super RTL in 2010 and is also available on the kids\u2019 network\u2019s digital platform www.toggo.de, which reaches nearly 200,000 youngsters a month.<\/p>\n<p>The show tells the story of 11-year-old, sweet-talking genius Angelo who, along with his two best friends, often gets into and out of trouble using clever planning, optimism and charisma. This\u00a0deal represents part of Super RTL\u2019s consumer products department\u2019s ongoing expansion into an older-skewing demographic. The series\u00a0has aired in more than 100 territories on channels and platforms such as Cartoon Network (EMEA, Latin America, Asia) and France T\u00e9l\u00e9visions (France), among others.<\/p>\n<p>Hendrik Rinsche, the head of licensing and merchandising at Super RTL, said, \u201cAngelo\u2019s appearance and style is unique and complements our portfolio perfectly. We are looking forward to starting the marketing program and are very positive about our first product development in the publishing and promotion categories.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Tom van Waveren, CAKE\u2019s CEO and creative director, commented, \u201cWe\u2019re excited to offer Angelo\u2019s many fans an opportunity to extend their <em>Angelo Rules<\/em> experience into other platforms and experiences, rewarding many years of loyal support.
