MADRID: The animated comedy PINY, PinyPon Institute of New York<\/em>, which is co-produced by \u00c1nima Kitchent and Famosa, has been picked up to air in Mexico and Russia.<\/p>\n

In Mexico, Televisa secured the title for its Canal 5 network and has scheduled a September launch. In Russia, it will broadcast\u00a0on the free-to-air kids\u2019 channel Carousel and the pay-TV network ANI at the beginning of the country\u2019s new school year. The 52×11-minute transmedia property is set in an exclusive New York institute specializing in creativity, design, fashion and new professions.<\/p>\n

V\u00edctor M. L\u00f3pez, the CEO of \u00c1nima Kitchent, said: \u201cWe are delighted to be working with Televisa and Carousel for the launch of PINY<\/em> in Mexico and Russia. They are the ideal partners for the transmedia content we are creating, not only to air the TV show but also to support the launch of the digital content and the license strategy required to build the brand.\u201d<\/p>\n
