DUBLIN: Gulli Africa has signed on to broadcast the South African township-produced kids\u2019 series Jabu\u2019s Jungle<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The Monster Entertainment-distributed 13×22-minute animated series is intended for kids aged 4 to 7. Gulli Africa will broadcast Jabu\u2019s Jungle<\/em> in 22 French-speaking African countries. The show follows the adventures of 9-year-old Jabu and his Magic Talking Drum as they explore the jungle and help animals in need.<\/p>\n

Production has begun on the second season of the series, which is slated to launch at MIPJunior. The show is produced by Pixcomm Production in Cape Town\u2019s Masiphumelele township through a production method that partners experienced animators with residents from the township. Working side by side with industry professionals, these young artists receive hands-on training.<\/p>\n
