MADRID: Nottingham Forest has picked up the licensing, merchandising and promotion rights for the animated series Sammy & Co<\/em> from\u00a0STUDIOCANAL, the property’s master agent.<\/p>\n

Sammy & Co<\/em> is based on the feature films A Turtle’s Tale: Sammy’s Adventures<\/em> and Sammy 2<\/em>. The ZagToon production, meant for kids between the ages of 4 and 8, follows the adventures of two young turtles and their friends. The 52×13-minute show has already been licensed in a number of territories around the globe. It has been airing on Canal Panda in Portugal since February 2015 and is set to\u00a0premiere on Clan in Spain in May 2016.<\/p>\n

Valerie Rolandez-Barrios, the VP of IP licensing and partnership at STUDIOCANAL, said: \u201cRicky and Ella are getting more and more friends all over the world. We are delighted of this new adventure for Sammy & Co<\/em> through this new partnership with Nottingham Forest.\u201d<\/p>\n
