Additionally, fans in the U.S. will be able to watch all episodes from the first five seasons on Turner&rsquo;s Boomerang. The Shaun the Sheep character made his debut in the 1995 Wallace and Gromit film <em>A Close Shave<\/em>, and became the focal point of his own series in 2007. <em>Shaun the Sheep<\/em> is broadcast in more than 170 territories worldwide.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tLast month, Amazon Prime Video launched <em>Shaun the Sheep: The Farmer&rsquo;s Llamas<\/em> in the U.S. Meanwhile,&nbsp;JLK Licensing recently closed a deal to become the licensing and merchandising partner for the brand in the U.S. market.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tAlix Wiseman, the head of sales and acquisitions at Aardman, producer of <em>Shaun the Sheep<\/em>, said: &ldquo;We are so pleased to be joining forces with two such highly regarded media partners, both of whom are a perfect fit for our wooly little friend.&rdquo;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>SANTA MONICA: Lionsgate has come on board as the home-entertainment partner for the entire Shaun the Sheep catalogue in the U.S., where Boomerang has signed on to become the new broadcast home.
