\n\tMIAMI: BBC Worldwide Latin America\/U.S. Hispanic and the Hispanic Information and Telecommunications Network (HITN) have signed an agreement that will combine BBC kids' programming with the mission of HITN, which airs educational content for U.S. Hispanic viewers.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe goal of the partnership is to help Hispanic preschoolers practice Spanish and provide them with access to basic math and science concepts that will prepare them for starting school. The collaboration between the two companies will create the first CBeebies programming block in Spanish for the U.S. Hispanic market. The new block will include such CBeebies shows as Dinopaws<\/em>, Mi Mascota y Yo<\/em>, Dime, Dime<\/em>, Nina y las Neuronas<\/em>, Katie Morag<\/em>, Sarah y Pato<\/em> and Los Numtums<\/em>. It will begin airing every weekday on HITN later this year.<\/p>\n
