Hasbro Entertainment has tapped Rob Doherty as VP of production to oversee its expanding animation and digital content slate.<\/p>\n
Doherty brings more than 30 years of experience in the kids\u2019 television industry, having held senior roles at companies such as Aardman, Disney, ITV and CAKE, among others. Most recently, he led the consultancy Relevant Content. His recent production credits include Angry Birds: Summer Madness<\/em> (Netflix), Supa Team 4<\/em> (Netflix) and Space Chickens in Space<\/em> (Disney).<\/p>\n Doherty is also the founder of Festivus, a long-running animation community and networking event that has grown to more than 13,000 members over 21 years.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m extremely excited to be joining Hasbro at a time of growth and expansion and am looking forward to working with some of the world\u2019s most iconic brands,\u201d Doherty commented.<\/p>\n Tom Hartley, VP of animation and digital content at Hasbro, added, \u201cWe\u2019re thrilled to welcome Rob to Hasbro Entertainment.
