It will coordinate merchandising licenses from a list of 118 products in these territories, as well as in German- and French-speaking countries and Italy.<\/p>\n<p>The agreement has been reached in partnership with Mangouste Anim, marking the first collaboration between the two.<\/p>\n<p><em>Grendizer<\/em> was created by Go Nagai in 1975 as part of the Mazinger Z universe. It is one of the series that introduced Western audiences to Japanese anime.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>Grendizer U<\/em> goes beyond nostalgia,\u201d said Carlos Biern, content and media sales director of DeAPlaneta Kids &amp; Family. \u201cThe spectacular production design of this reboot finally updates the characters of a true milestone of anime to today\u2019s new digital generations.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>Grendizer<\/em> is managing to reach both young audiences and those who discovered the character through its classic incarnation,\u201d noted Antonella Ceraso, international consumer products director of DeAPlaneta Entertainment. \u201cThese moments of shared experience are incredibly valuable to us and give us the opportunity to work with this IP in a creative and cross-disciplinary way with endless possibilities.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>Grendizer<\/em> is not just a cult franchise; it is a work of cultural transmission, carried forward since 1975 by generations of fans who are now the parents of new generations,\u201d added Caroline Cornot, CEO of Mangouste Anim. \u201cThe series paved the way for manga in Europe and created the manga generation; it remains today a timeless pillar of pop culture. <em>Grendizer U<\/em> builds on a unique legacy, bridging the emotion of the classic <em>Grendizer<\/em> with modern animation capable of captivating new generations.
