It is based on an original idea and illustrations by Henry Paker and Tom Beattie.<\/p>\n<p>The series is directed by Daniel Dubuis, written by Baljeet Rai and is produced by Tom Stuart. The executive producers are Beattie, Paker, Beno\u00eet Di Sabatino and Bastien Faur\u00e9, and for Umedia Bastien Sirodot and C\u00e9dric Iland.<\/p>\n<p>Set in the hilariously chaotic kingdom of Yetropolis, the series follows Aquila, a clever and resourceful 10-year-old from a humble food truck family, who unexpectedly lands a job as personal assistant to the pampered Princess Winifred. Tasked with keeping the kingdom from collapsing under Winifred\u2019s whims, Aquila navigates castle chaos and city-wide shenanigans, all while searching for a place to truly belong.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis series embodies the creative ambition of Banijay Kids &amp; Family, bold, original and driven by character,\u201d said Di Sabatino, CEO of Banijay Kids &amp; Family\/Zodiak Kids &amp; Family France. \u201c<em>Aquila &amp; The Medieval Misfits<\/em> brings together top-tier talent and a truly unique comic sensibility, and Bastien Faur\u00e9 and I are incredibly proud to be coproducing this show with Tom Beattie at Tiger Aspect Kids &amp; Family, alongside outstanding creatives such as Henry Paker.
