Aardman has appointed Helen Beard to the role of chief people officer and executive board member.<\/p>\n
Beard will shape a people and culture strategy with a focus on building the skills, talent and leadership needed for the future while ensuring that employee ownership principles remain deeply rooted in the business.<\/p>\n
Beard will take up the role on January 12, reporting to Sean Clarke, managing director. Her appointment follows the retirement of Paula Newport, who worked at the studio for 27 years.<\/p>\n
Beard joins from the luxury lifestyle brand Mulberry Group, where she most recently served as group HR director.<\/p>\n
