The adaptation will be produced using live action for the human narrative and visual effects for the ant world.<\/p>\n<p>The adaptation is being written by Vladimir Haulet (<em>Mixte<\/em>, <em>Mash Up<\/em>), with the VFX direction being led by Nicolas Deveaux, alongside Quentin Reubrecht (<em>Arcane<\/em>, <em>I Lost My Bod<\/em>y). Producers are Marc du Pontavice and Caterina Gonnelli for Xilam and Franck Calderon and C\u00e9line d\u2019Asaro Biondo for UGC.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am thrilled to see<em> Empire of the Ants<\/em> finally come to life on screen,\u201d said Werber. \u201cThis adaptation from such creative powerhouses as UGC and Xilam will bring a unique level of ambition to my universe.
