Acamar Films has named Peter Bazalgette, former chair of ITV, as its new chairman.<\/p>\n

\u201cI believe in Bing<\/em> and in Acamar\u2019s mission to serve our youngest audience members in a way which actually does them some good,\u201d Bazalgette said. He will work alongside CEO Mikael Shields and the management team to bolster the company\u2019s strategic leadership and strengthen the board.<\/p>\n

In addition to serving as chair of ITV, Bazalgette was also a TV producer at Endemol UK and has invested in a range of digital startups. He has been the co-chair of the U.K.\u2019s Creative Industries Council since 2021.<\/p>\n
