Pictures Animation and Locksmith Animation\u2019s animated musical <em>Bad Fairies<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Directed by Megan Nicole Dong from an original screenplay by Deborah Frances-White, the film will feature original music from the Tony-winning duo Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss (<em>Six: The Musical<\/em>). Cynthia Erivo (<em>Wicked<\/em>) was previously announced as the lead.<\/p>\n<p>The film is being co-directed by Olivier Staphylas. In addition to original music from Marlow and Moss, Grammy-nominated Isabella \u201cMachine\u201d Summers of Florence + The Machine is composing the score and contributing to the songs. Ian Eisendrath (<em>KPop Demon Hunters<\/em>) is executive music producer.<\/p>\n<p>The creative team also includes producer Carolyn Soper, editor Sim Evan-Jones, cinematographer James C.J. Williams, character designer Uwe Heidsch\u00f6tter, heads of story Rikke Asbjoern and Chris Garbutt and production designers Justin Hutchinson-Chatburn and Mike Redman.<\/p>\n<p>Production is currently underway in London, with DNEG Animation serving as digital partner.<\/p>\n<p><em>Bad Fairies<\/em> will be the first feature released under the first-look deal between Warner Bros. Pictures Animation and Locksmith Animation. It is set to debut theatrically via Warner Bros.
