9 Story Media Group and Scholastic Entertainment\u2019s joint slate of new kids\u2019 and family programming includes Dragon Girls<\/em>, an adaptation of the Scholastic book series by Maddy Mara.<\/p>\n

The 52×11-minute series for kids ages 6 to 9 follows three very different girls who are transported to a magical realm where they are transformed into powerful dragons. They are then called on to defend the realm from an evil queen.<\/p>\n

Paris & Pups<\/em>, inspired by Paris Hilton and her real-life pets, is another new series on the slate. The series is now in development for a long-form adaptation and two original specials. It follows Paris Star and her five pups as they spread kindness and confidence wherever they go.<\/p>\n

The live-action game show I Spy<\/em> is also in development, based on the book series created by Jean Marzollo and photographer Walter Wick. In each episode, teams of contestants compete in a series of classic searching games. It is being developed and produced in partnership with Digomind Productions, founded by executive producer Kevin Williams (Beat Shazam<\/em>, Don\u2019t Forget the Lyrics!<\/em>, Family Feud<\/em>).<\/p>\n

Additionally, 10×30-minute series The School for Wicked Witches<\/em> is in development. It follows a 15-year-old who finds out she has magic\u2014the wicked kind. Based on the best-seller by Will Taylor, it is adapted by Anna McCleery (A Kind of Spark<\/em>, Free Rein<\/em>, The Lady Grace Mysteries<\/em>).<\/p>\n

Among 9 Story Media Group\u2019s new acquisitions is Do Not Watch This Show<\/em>, centered on a pompous blue monster who is desperate for viewers to stop watching.<\/p>\n

Dee & Friends in Oz<\/em>, a preschool series that sees a regular kid embark on a musical journey when a mysterious key transports her to the land of Oz, is now available for international distribution.<\/p>\n

New episodes are available for Donkey Hodie<\/em> and Rosie\u2019s Rules<\/em>, which have returned for their third and second seasons, respectively.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
