The Australian Children’s Television Foundation has on offer “something to suit all broadcasters of children’s content,” says Tim Hegarty, international sales manager.

Tales from Outer Suburbia, based on the best-selling book by Shaun Tan, leads its slate. When siblings Klara and Pim move to Outer Suburbia with their mother, the family goes on a roller-coaster ride of emotion, encountering weird and miraculous phenomena as they adapt to their new reality.

The preschool series Knee High Spies is a mix of live-action and puppetry. “It brings high-energy thrills and the white-knuckle suspense of an espionage blockbuster to a young audience, reimagining exotic cinematic locations in a relatable domestic setting,” Hegarty explains.

The family-friendly live-action film Windcatcher sees 10-year-old Percy Boy Collins and his crew of friends outsmart a gang of bullies to triumph at their school’s athletics carnival. The movie “doesn’t shy away from life’s bigger themes—fear, loss, belonging—but tackles them with a gentle hand, guiding audiences through Percy’s journey with a spirit of adventure and a heart full of hope,” Hegarty says.

Hegarty goes on to say, “Kids of all backgrounds and nationalities have one thing in common: they love laughter, adventure and stories that enthrall and entertain. So, whether it’s Klara and her brother Pim having surreal adventures in their new neighborhood in Tales from Outer Suburbia, Jeremy Buttons solving puzzles to thwart the evil exploits of arch rival Silver Paw in Knee High Spies or Percy Boy facing some difficult challenges of his own in Windcatcher, broadcasters from around the globe will find content here that offers their audience a truly fabulous viewing experience.”

The Australian Children’s Television Foundation has on offer “something to suit all broadcasters of children’s content,” says Tim Hegarty, international sales manager.

[21
412,411,10558,10919,10044,9753
post-30597","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","","category-top-stories","tag-actf","tag-australian-childrens-television-foundation","tag-knee-high-spies","tag-tales-from-outer-suburbia","tag-tim-hegarty","tag-windcatcher","pmpro-has-access
