Scores New Licensing Partners"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Konami Cross Media NY has secured a series of new licensing partners for <em>Yu-Gi-Oh!<\/em>, including the pop culture direct-to-retail company Forbidden Planet, with a focus on the European market.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are pleased to conclude these new licensee partnerships that will introduce many must-have <em>Yu-Gi-Oh!<\/em> products for the first time, giving us access to important retail distribution channels in key territories around the world,\u201d said Jennifer Coleman, senior VP of marketing and licensing at the company. \u201cThe new <em>Yu-Gi-Oh!<\/em> merch will begin to roll out by third quarter this year.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Forbidden Planet will take a deep dive into <em>Yu-Gi-Oh!<\/em>\u2019s 1,100-plus hours of content to create never-before-seen collectible merch. The company\u2019s footprint covers the U.K. and the Republic of Ireland.<\/p>\n<p>The Danish fashion house Fine Chaos is another new partner. The company is bringing its signature style to a range of <em>Yu-Gi-Oh!<\/em>-inspired apparel that will debut at the Yu-Gi-Oh!
