{"id":30524,"date":"2025-10-01T09:40:26","date_gmt":"2025-10-01T13:40:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvkids\/animaj-acquires-maya-the-bee-rights-from-studio-100-international\/"},"modified":"2025-10-01T10:42:05","modified_gmt":"2025-10-01T14:42:05","slug":"animaj-acquires-maya-the-bee-rights-from-studio-100-international","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvkids\/animaj-acquires-maya-the-bee-rights-from-studio-100-international\/","title":{"rendered":"Animaj Acquires Maya the Bee Rights from Studio 100 International"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Studio 100 International has signed an agreement that grants Animaj the rights to <em>Maya the Bee<\/em> outside of DACH and Benelux, excluding feature film and theme park rights.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019ve always believed in Maya\u2019s universal appeal\u2014and this year, as she turns 50 on screen, it feels like the right moment to bring new energy to the brand,\u201d said Martin Krieger, CEO of Studio 100 International, and Hans Bourlon, CEO of Studio 100 Group. \u201cThis partnership with Animaj allows us to do that in a way that feels both respectful and forward-looking.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Animaj will lead digital strategy, series content development and international expansion, while Studio 100 will retain full responsibility for the development, production and international sales of all <em>Maya the Bee <\/em>feature films, such as the new spin-off <em>Arnie &amp; Barney<\/em>, and will continue overseeing the brand in global theme parks, in German-speaking countries and in the Benelux region. They will also leverage Animaj\u2019s proprietary AI-powered production pipeline to deliver scalable, platform-native content at speed and quality.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMaya the Bee is part of Europe\u2019s cultural fabric,\u201d said Gregory Dray and Sixte de Vauplane, co-founders of Animaj. \u201cWe grew up with her.
