{"id":30494,"date":"2025-09-24T09:37:47","date_gmt":"2025-09-24T13:37:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvkids\/disney-slates-new-prep-landing-holiday-special\/"},"modified":"2025-09-24T10:08:36","modified_gmt":"2025-09-24T14:08:36","slug":"disney-slates-new-prep-landing-holiday-special","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvkids\/disney-slates-new-prep-landing-holiday-special\/","title":{"rendered":"Disney Slates New Prep &#038; Landing Holiday Special"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>After more than a decade, the <em>Prep &amp; Landing<\/em> franchise is returning, with the special <em>Prep &amp; Landing: The Snowball Protocol<\/em> set to premiere on the U.S. holiday of Thanksgiving, November 27, on Disney Channel.<\/p>\n<p>The special will head to Disney+ the next day and will make its way to ABC and Freeform later in the holiday season. <em>The Snowball Protocol<\/em>, the fourth installment in the elf franchise, will feature the returning voices of Dave Foley, Sarah Chalke and Derek Richardson, alongside new cast members Manny Jacinto, Dulc\u00e9 Sloan, Danny Pudi and Christopher Swindle.<\/p>\n<p>The new special follows Christmas elves Lanny and Wayne, whose holiday mission goes awry, leaving Wayne convinced he\u2019s in major trouble with Santa.<\/p>\n<p>Kevin Deters and Stevie Wermers-Skelton return to their roles as executive producers, and Colleen Evanson is a co-producer and story editor. The special is produced by Disney Television Animation, part of Disney Branded Television.<\/p>\n<p><em>Prep &amp; Landing: The Snowball Protocol<\/em>\u00a0follows on from <em>Prep &amp; Landing<\/em> (2009), <em>Prep &amp;
