Channel 4 has commissioned a seasonal special based on Judith Kerr’s Mog\u2019s Bad Thing<\/em>, with Serious Kids on board to distribute the 24-minute production from Lupus Films.<\/p>\n

The special is set to air on Channel 4 in 2026 following its theatrical premiere in the U.K. The theatrical rollout will see it paired with Universal Pictures Content Group’s Mog\u2019s Christmas<\/em>, the BAFTA-nominated short that premiered on Channel 4 in 2023.<\/p>\n

The film is produced by Ruth Fielding and Camilla Deakin for Lupus Films, written by Joanna Harrison and directed by Robin Shaw.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are thrilled to have the opportunity to bring Mog\u2019s funny feline adventures to the big and small screen once more,\u201d said Fielding, co-founder and joint managing director at Lupus Films. \u201cFollowing the success of our previous collaborations with Serious Kids on seasonal specials The Ghastly Ghoul<\/em> and We\u2019re Going on a Bear Hunt<\/em>, we know that Mog\u2019s Bad Thing<\/em> is in safe hands and we hope that MIPCOM will result in a host of key presales.\u201d<\/p>\n
