{"id":30428,"date":"2025-09-11T10:44:40","date_gmt":"2025-09-11T14:44:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvkids\/serious-kids-to-distribute-bbc-childrens-my-life\/"},"modified":"2025-09-11T11:57:14","modified_gmt":"2025-09-11T15:57:14","slug":"serious-kids-to-distribute-bbc-childrens-my-life","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvkids\/serious-kids-to-distribute-bbc-childrens-my-life\/","title":{"rendered":"Serious Kids to Distribute BBC Children\u2019s My Life"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Serious Kids has been appointed as the worldwide distributor for a selection of films from the CBBC <em>My Life<\/em> series and will present them at MIPJunior.<\/p>\n<p>Alongside Big Deal Films, Drummer TV and Nine Lives Media, BBC Children\u2019s and Education and Serious Kids have worked together to curate a collection of films from the last 15 years, packaged to be available to the international market for the first time via a specialist children\u2019s distributor.<\/p>\n<p>Among the films being distributed are<em> Boy on a Bicycle<\/em>, in which Ahmed leads viewers through life at a refugee camp; <em>Girl Genius<\/em>, which follows Kashmea\u2019s mission to prevent deaths from food allergies; and <em>Marvellous Messy Minds<\/em>, centering on Libby, Ethan and Oliver as they learn to control their anxiety, ADHD and OCD.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are finally ready to launch the series at MIPJunior after over a year\u2019s work on bringing this together,\u201d said Genevieve Dexter, founder and CEO of Serious Kids. \u201cWe thank everyone at BBC Children\u2019s and Education, Big Deal Films, Drummer TV, Nine Lives Media and Flix for working with us on this project. We know from attending BAFTA and Emmy Awards ceremonies over the years that these films are well-respected around the world, and we are excited to see the response from the international broadcast community.
