The LEGO Group and Aardman have partnered to help inspire young builders and encourage creative storytelling using stop-motion animation inspired by the LEGO brick.<\/p>\n

The companies have set a creative challenge using the LEGO Play app, where kids can use an animation tool to share their own animated stories, with a chance to see their ideas featured in an Aardman story. Aardman produced an animated short to announce the challenge, centered on an alien called Boop who is transported to a world of LEGO bricks.<\/p>\n

Boop meets LEGO minifigurines and befriends them, but where their story goes from there is something the LEGO Group and Aardman are inviting young creatives to decide.<\/p>\n

Aardman has produced the one-minute animated short starring Boop, as well as five mini stop-motion challenge films, including Build Your Own Boop, set to release monthly.<\/p>\n

Director Magda Osinska will be hosting a video workshop to inspire young creators and filmmakers. The workshop will be hosted on the LEGO website and will be supported by video tutorials from fan creators and influencers.<\/p>\n
