Moonbug Entertainment has expanded its partnership with MultiChoice Media to launch the first Portuguese-language version of the Moonbug Channel in Angola and Mozambique on DStv.<\/p>\n

“Kids all around the world grow up by watching our content, and the Moonbug Channel delivers learning and play to kids all day long,\u201d said Dilek Doyran, head of channel partnerships for EMEA at Moonbug Entertainment. \u201cWe\u2019re excited to scale our partnership with DStv to bring a Portuguese-language feed of the Moonbug Channel to Angola and Mozambique, giving more children access to our entertaining and enriching content.\u201d<\/p>\n

Melusi Sibisi, head of international channels at Multichoice Group, commented, \u201cAs part of our ongoing effort to enhance our customers\u2019 viewing experience and delight them with content that resonates with them, MultiChoice is proud to announce the launch of Moonbug Channel on DStv. This new channel addition fulfills MultiChoice\u2019s promise to offer a diverse range of exciting, edutaining kids content that ensures our littlest customers also stay entertained.\u201d<\/p>\n

The new version of the Moonbug Channel features CoComelon<\/em>, Blippi<\/em>, Little Angel<\/em>, Gecko\u2019s Garage<\/em>, Morphle<\/em> and Oddbods<\/em> in Portuguese. The shows will also be available on-demand in Portuguese for DStv subscribers in Angola and Mozambique.<\/p>\n

The English-language version of the channel has been available to DStv\u2019s 21.7 million subscribers across 45 African countries since 2022.<\/p>\n
