Heads to Malaysia"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ABC Commercial has secured a deal with Malaysia\u2019s Radio Televisyen Malaysia (RTM) for seasons four through seven of<em> Ready, Steady, Wiggle!<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The program will be available in English on RTM\u2019s free-to-air channel later this year, giving Malaysian kids the chance to build a connection to The Wiggles and the group\u2019s diverse lineup, which includes John Pearce, the Purple Wiggle, who is of Asian heritage.<\/p>\n<p>This deal marks an expansion in Asia for <em>The Wiggles<\/em>, which has already launched in South Korea and Taiwan.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere is a growing demand for premium children\u2019s content, with broadcasters increasingly seeking engaging, trusted brands that provide safe, high-quality entertainment for families,\u201d said Alex Zhou, ABC Commercial\u2019s content sales manager for Asia and MENA. \u201cThe Wiggles globally recognized and trusted brand has entertained preschoolers for over three decades with its fun, educational approach. Their catchy songs, interactive storytelling and positive messaging make learning enjoyable while helping children develop key skills in language, movement and social interaction. The post-pandemic content boom has further amplified the demand for safe and educational entertainment, making this an ideal time to introduce The Wiggles to Malaysian families.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis partnership is a significant milestone in The Wiggles\u2019 international growth strategy,\u201d commented Luke O\u2019Neill, CEO of The Wiggles. \u201cWe\u2019re incredibly excited to work with RTM and ABC Commercial to bring our world-class preschool content to new audiences in Asia.
