Studio 100 Film is set to launch worldwide sales for Tunche Films\u2019 new CGI movie Toxic\u2014Miracle of the Jungle<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Currently in development and slated for delivery in early 2027, the film follows the story of Dante, a small but extraordinary Amazonian dart frog with a special gift\u2014when his skin comes in contact with clouds, he can generate rain.<\/p>\n

The rare and mysterious ability makes him the subject of scientific study, until a test flight goes wrong and he is unexpectedly dropped into the depths of the jungle. There, he stumbles into a lively forest community of small animals and dreams of becoming one of them. His toxic nature, however, leads to fear and exclusion. When a forest fire threatens the existence of the jungle, only Dante can save it.<\/p>\n

The film builds on the culturally rooted storytelling of Tunche Films\u2019 2021 movie Ainbo\u2014Spirit of the Amazon<\/em>, which grossed more than $13 million internationally.<\/p>\n

Toxic\u2014Miracle of the Jungle<\/em> is being directed by Jos\u00e9 Zelada and C\u00e9sar Zelada (Ainbo<\/em>, Kayara<\/em>, Searching for Hearts<\/em>). It is based on an original idea by C\u00e9sar, who co-wrote the screenplay alongside Jos\u00e9. They both also executive produce, alongside their brother Sergio Zelada. The production design is led by Pierre Salazar (The LEGO Movie<\/em>, Happy Feet<\/em>, Walking with Dinosaurs<\/em>).<\/p>\n

Studio 100 Film will be introducing the film at Marche du Film, Cannes, with the official teaser and first concept art designs.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen I first heard about Toxic\u2013Miracle of the Jungle<\/em>, I fell in love with it right away due to its heartfelt and wildly entertaining adventure,\u201d commented Lorena Booth, senior manager of sales and acquisitions at Studio 100 Film. \u201cThis movie follows its main character Dante\u2014a little frog who never quite fits in\u2014until he discovers that his unique gift might be the very thing that can save his world.
