BBC Studios Kids & Family has secured a deal with Magic Light Pictures for international distribution rights to the animated series Zog<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Based on the award-winning books by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler, the 52×11-minute animated comedy adventure is targeted to 4- to 6-year-olds. The series builds on the 2018 family special Zog<\/em> and its 2020 sequel, Zog and the Flying Doctors<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The deal also includes all U.S. consumer products and licensing rights for the TV series. The deal excludes the U.K. and Germany, where the series has been commissioned by BBC Children\u2019s and Education and ZDF, respectively. Magic Light Pictures continues to represent all Zog<\/em> licensing rights in the U.K. and Europe.<\/p>\n
