The adventures in the show center around animal rescue and protection. Each episode will follow the V Team, a group of five young veterinary apprentices, as they embark on rescue missions to save and heal animals in distress.<\/p>\n<p><em>Vet Academy<\/em> is created by French director Charles Vaucelle (<em>Pat the Dog<\/em>, <em>Oggy and the Cockroaches<\/em>, <em>The Daltons<\/em>, <em>Lucky Luke<\/em>, <em>Dogmatix and the Indomitables<\/em>) and Matthieu Choquet, story edited by Val\u00e9rie Baranski, will be produced at SUPERPROD\u2019s studios in Paris, Angoul\u00eame and Milan. Superights, the group\u2019s distribution arm, will handle international sales.<\/p>\n<p>Yann Labasque, head of TF1 group\u2019s youth programming, said: \u201cWe are delighted to be working hand in hand with SUPERPROD on this series. It\u2019s a perfect combination of adventure and heartwarming stories, which spring from the unique bond between children and animals. SUPERPROD has pulled together a team of exceptional artists and writers to create an unforgettable experience for our young viewers.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Vaucelle commented: \u201cI\u2019ve always loved having pets at home, and I know that children love to care about animals. Moreover, my wife is a veterinarian, and for years, I\u2019ve wanted to introduce children to this wonderful profession. I even hope that it will inspire future veterinarians! To make our apprentice vets\u2019 missions more visual and exciting, I\u2019ve designed V-suits, special suits that give them extraordinary abilities and protect them during their rescue missions.
