Dandelooo\u2019s Emmanu\u00e8le P\u00e9try, ZDF Studios\u2019 Oliver Grundel, Hidden Pigeon Company\u2019s Kristofer Updike and Lion Forge Entertainment\u2019s Jeremy Colfer will discuss the keys to adapting books for the screen during the TV Kids Festival, running from February 4 to 7. The panel will feature P\u00e9try, head of international and development at Dandelooo; Grundel, Director Junior at ZDF Studios; Updike, senior VP of creative at Hidden Pigeon Company; and Colfer, director of development at Lion Forge Entertainment. Together, they will discuss the value of book-based IP in today\u2019s landscape and the cornerstones of maintaining the core identity of written material while adjusting it for an on-screen format.<\/p>\n

Grundel, P\u00e9try, Updike and Colfer join previously announced participants: Mattel\u2019s Josh Silverman, Super RTL\u2019s Dominique Neudecker, 9 Story\u2019s Vince Commisso, Boat Rocker\u2019s Jon Rutherford, Ampere\u2019s Olivia Deane, ITV\u2019s Darren Nartey, Paramount\u2019s Lynsey O\u2019Callaghan, Amazon\u2019s Monica Sharma, YLE\u2019s Vicky Schroderus, Shaw Rocket Fund\u2019s Agnes Augustin and Carl the Collector<\/em> creator Zachariah OHora.
