The screenplay is by Oliver Huzly and Sven Severin. It is being distributed theatrically in German-speaking territories by Wild Bunch Germany, with Studio 100 Film handling worldwide sales. It is scheduled for completion in summer 2026.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe idea of this film was to stay true to the heart of the beloved IP and create something entertaining yet gentle for young cinemagoers,\u201d said producer Henning Windelband.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAfter years of working on Conni, she feels like a fourth daughter to me, and I\u2019m thrilled to see her next big adventure come to life,\u201d added creative producer Jana Kr\u00e4mer. \u201cConni\u2019s new adventure is sure to resonate with her loyal fans, offering a heartwarming story for families to enjoy together.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The first <em>Conni<\/em> feature film, <em>Conni and the Cat<\/em>, garnered over 400,000 admissions in German-speaking territories and was later released among others in the U.S. and the U.K. via Blue Fox.<\/p>\n<p>Studio 100 Film has also picked up <em>Emmi &amp; Unipig<\/em>, based on the best-selling novel series by Anna B\u00f6hm, which has sold more than 150,000 copies. The 80-minute film begins when Emmi wishes for a unicorn as her magic mate on her 10th birthday. Instead, she gets Unipig\u2014a small pink pet pig with a golden horn and nothing else in common with a unicorn. Fearing teasing from her schoolmates, Emmi disguises Unipig as a baby unicorn but soon learns to embrace her unconventional companion, who teaches her about loyalty, self-confidence and true friendship.<\/p>\n<p><em>Emmi &amp; Unipig<\/em> is a German collaboration between Carte blanche Media, Little Dream Entertainment (<em>Tafiti<\/em>, <em>The Mucklas<\/em>, <em>Moonbound<\/em>) and AMOUR FOU Filmproduktion. The animation is provided by Red Parrot Studio (<em>Moonbound<\/em>, <em>The Mucklas<\/em>, <em>Tafiti<\/em>). It is directed by Stephan Wagner, with a screenplay by author B\u00f6hm.
